The momentum started building in
2018, when an ES Recruit client
acquired a key ES Steel client. This
created an opportunity to partner
across both divisions in a proactive
and cohesive way across the whole
project life cycle; something we had
already begun exploring give the
capabilities we had across our
businesses.
This model positioned us as a strategic partner rather than transactional supplier,
bringing together people-focused solutions that many more of our clients went on
to benefit from. The results were immediate and compelling.
By 2025 we had established ES Site Services to support a market that many
traditional recruiters can’t reach: highly regulated sites that require specialised
expertise. Designed to support ES Steel, this business leverages the expertise of
ES Recruit to source the high calibre of candidates needed on regulated sites at
scale and speed, while also holding the specialist accreditations needed to supply
direct labour that aren’t available to recruitment agencies.
The capabilities, experience and ambition all existed; our structure just needed to
catch up.
Our move to a Group model strengthens our ability to
support all of our clients’ requirements.
